How to whiten pants that cannot be bleached normally?
Hello,
I purchased a pair of green pants (white was not available, not even khaki) that were about 98% cotton, so I assumed they would bleach easily, but alas they haven't been.
What other methods are available to whiten this garment without bleach? What products can I use?
Removing dye from cotton is called discharging. If bleach does not work try sodium hydrosulfite.
Rit color remover is one of the more popular sodium hydrosulfite products.
