Junior Varsity and Varsity Football high school?
What's the difference between them? And why does my school not have freshman football?
There's only Varsity and Junior Varsity. I am planning to ask my coach tomorrow to join for freshman football but i guess there's no freshman football.
Well varsity is obviously for the older/more elite players and they play their games on Fridays whereas JV is usually for sophomores and juniors and they play their games on Thursdays. I'm not sure why your school doesn't have a freshman team, maybe they can't afford to fund it? Either way, if you're a freshman and you're only options are JV or varsity, you're most likely gonna be put on the JV team unless you're outstandingly good, then there's a small chance you'll make the varsity team. And even so, since there's no freshman program, you might have to work extra hard to even make the JV team. But yeah, talk to the coach and see what he says.
