Am I better off getting an XL Adult shirt and shrinking it or buying an XL Youth size shirt?
I want to make a clothing-purchase of a T-Shirt online, but it does not have my available shirt size (Adult - Medium), leaving me to compensate with:
Youth - XL
or
Adult - XL (Smallest size available), and washing it on "Hot" in hopes that it shrinks
Maybe this question is best suited for a household mom so if any of you are out there, please help me out!

i wear adult smalls and often buy tshirts in the boys department -- i wear a large boys shirt. the big difference is in long sleeves -- boys long sleeves are cut too short. if you want a fitted tshirt i would go with the boys size and not worry about it. next time you are shopping you can stop by the boys department and try stuff on too.
